Question
What are some examples of actual sites where the Triad has been used?

Answer

While the term "Triad" has been coined relatively recently by the EPA, the Triad approach reflects significant positive experience gained in the last decade through applying systematic planning, dynamic work strategies, and real-time measurement technologies to hazardous waste site cleanup. The three components of the Triad have been successfully deployed at private and federal sites across a wide range of contamination scenarios, and at all points in the characterization and remediation process. For specific examples, please refer to the Case Studies portion of the Triad Resource Center web site.
